This Easter has been meeting opportunity, knowledge, affection and friendship. Let me explain. Last October I met with my friend Carlos Anaya in Italy, a place near Florence. I raised an idea that moved me, encouraged me and then not dimension that I would to my heart. I told him about my concerns about leaving a trail of life in our step by the government of Jalisco and contacted me Anabel Abascal, the Focolare movement to start organizing a possible Gen Rosso concert in Guadalajara. Shortly
Focolare knew little of its founder Chiara Lubich, and some of Gen Rosso, a work born of the experience of that movement. Already talked in another post above how songs such as "born" or "servant of love" joined me at some point in my life and was praying in my personal journey. So as soon as I met in Mexico Anabel told her that he was willing to the organization of the concert.
I do not want to chronicle this beautiful experience of working with several of my friends that soon became enamored of the project and together we made this dream possible. That is not the reason for this post, but another: Share in a simple way that I know has left the Focolare, Chiara in their children and children of Gen Rosso.
the outset confess that I have a habit of origin. When I met Catholic groups and movements very closely reviewed what they do and I am very critical of its spirituality, its philosophical and theological writings, their internal organization. I have the great defect of being a hard court. In the deal, I began to listen Chiara talk, the charism of unity, of the work of Mary, devoted his life ... And although quite frankly I have put my doubts about his life as a movement within the Church, there was one aspect that has me in love with the Focolare: The love experimientan. The love of Christ and Christ that allows them to treat all men without the stupid ideological barriers and prejudices that many have. Love in the unit, as Jesus loved, "they all be one." And it's not a speech to justify their activity, is indeed a lifetime! Each of the boys GenRosso to treat me with affection, RoselĂ, Gloria, Anabel, Imelda, Beppe, Bic ... All turned to show me the face Jesus in their community life!
Children of Gen Rosso, from those with more time in the younger group and had (and have, over the Internet) gestures that much I have appreciated. A word of encouragement, songs, conversations, the company. I felt loved by Jesus through feel loved by them! And this is true, is superior to any of my poor schemes.
Today I talked with Father Pepe all this, and my experience at Easter in the citadel of the diamond, in Puebla. Pepe's father, a saint of our times, made me stop in the words of scripture: "It will no longer call you servants but friends." Amigos! it a transparent, honest, sincere, true! There is a relationship useful as men today understand public relations, but a gift of self to another through love. It is not submission, not an obligation, is love. As it does Jesus.
