Nothing to comment on a beautiful story of a very holy deacon popular, Lorenzo. They say that when the prefect of Rome ordered (in 258 AD) to deliver the goods of the Church, Lorenzo comes to him with all the poor, the disabled, the blind, the needy. They are presented and said: "This is the wealth of the Church."
is a story that would hardly be a historical authenticity because nobody looked at this and comes to us by the sacred writers. But it reveals a definite fact, that Christ and his Church are at the smallness, the suffering, the pain of men. Realistically and without demagogy, this is the way, not another.
